Our receptionists are the first point of care for our clients. They provide an integral role in the client experience and support for our practitioners.
Who are we looking for?
About the Role
​
As our Front Receptionist, you will be the welcoming face of our clinic, providing exceptional customer service while managing appointment bookings and supporting our Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, and Remedial Massage/Myotherapy practitioners. This role is perfect for someone with strong communication skills, a passion for patient care, and the ability to multitask in a busy clinic environment.

This is a part-time position covering:

Wednesdays: 10am – 2pm
-
Fridays: 2pm – 6pm

With the flexibility of additional shifts as needed to cover leave
​
Key Responsibilities
​

Greet and assist patients in a warm and professional manner
-
Maintain a clean and calming waiting area for clients throughout the day

Manage appointment scheduling using PracSuite (practice management software)
-
Handle phone, email and online correspondence efficiently
-
Process Medicare, private health fund claims, and 3rd party payments
-
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with confidentiality standards
-
Empathy and Compassion: With patients, staff, and referrers
-
Assist with general administrative tasks to support clinic operations
-
Patient Advocacy: Your goal should be to ensure patients receive the care and information they need.

Perform end of day office management duties

About You
-
A team player with a friendly and professional approach to patient care
-
Experience in a medical or allied health reception role is highly regarded (not essential)
-
Knowledge of PracSuite or similar practice management booking system preferred
-
Understanding of Medicare, private health funds, and billing processes
-
Strong digital literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite, cloud storage (OneDrive), database management, and social media.

Ability to multi-task, work quickly and independently, problem-solve, and communicate clearly
-
This role could suit a university student studying in an Allied Health field or Medical Administration, or a semi-retired professional with experience in the healthcare industry looking for a flexible and rewarding position.
